The link between induced abortion and breast cancer is substantial.

  • Professor Burton of the Anti Cancer Council of Victoria has disclosed "...it is of interest that it (abortion) did show an increased risk of breast cancer associated with a second trimester abortion..."
  •  

  • The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the U.K. has issued warnings of a 30% greater risks of breast cancer via leaflets and the internet

  • Professor Joel Brind has found a clear link and his medical research has been subject to critical analysis

  • The review of Brind's research concluded "...that induced abortion is a significant independent risk factor for breast cancer..."

  • Where there is confused medical evidence of a link the precautionary principle whould apply and clear warnings should be given to women so that they are informed.
